57. Relationship Pairings: Projectors With the 5 Types
Wondering how Human Design dynamics play out in relationships? In this episode, we’re taking each type and pairing them up with the Projector type to chat about how the energy of that relationship functions (as well as what to watch out for).
We’ll walk through each relationship and note what to look for and how each type can support the other to create a healthy relationship in which everyone lives in alignment with their Human Design type.
And yes, we’ll also cover the potential drawbacks to each relationship and talk about how you can get over those rough patches.

Ardelia Lee - Projector, Compass, and Adventurer
Hey! I’m Ardelia (pronounced ar-DEAL-ya). I’m basically a walking, talking energetic compass and a Human Design projector on a journey to understand + fully experience what it means to be a projector.
And I’m here to support and guide you, fellow projector, as you start discovering and working with your Human Design to create a life (or a business) that’s sustainable, fulfilling, and enjoyable. In short, I’m here to help you be an aligned projector and to release all the conditioning and pressure that you’ve experienced.
Loved this episode and it’s the best one I’ve heard for projectors and relationships! And I’ve listened to a lot of HD relationship podcast episodes 😉
I have a question, you mentioned a few times that 2 projectors together might have a defined sacral center in the relationship. How is this known? My husband and I are both projectors. I have all 3 motor centers defined, so heart, solar plexus and root. Those are my only defined centers. Hubby has root, solar plexus and heart defined, as well as spleen, head & ajna. We are both solar plexus emotional authorities. According to my understanding, he is a mental projector and I am an energy projector. Is there a way I can tell if together we have a defined sacral center in our relationship?
Thanks so much!!
Hey Adrienne,
Thank you so much! Both you and your husband are energy projectors. If he has at least one motor center defined, then he’s an energy Projector. 😉
You’ll have a defined sacral together if you each have one half of a gate that completes a channel to the sacral. So if you have Gate 53 in the root center, and he has Gate 42 in the Sacral center, then together you have a defined Sacral because those two gates complete a channel between the Sacral and the Root.
So look for the gates that you both have defined in the sacral center itself and see if the other one has the gate that connects to them. Make sense?
